St. Charles Mayor
St. Charles has suffered a string of disappointments in the Mayor’s Office, and the incumbent is no exception. The city’s finances are teetering, with substantial budget deficits looming on the near horizon. Jake “Wayne” Wyatt is the serious candidate to lead us through the serious challenges that lie ahead for the city, for the state, and for our country.
With deep roots in St. Charles—he married his St. Charles High School sweetheart from the class of ’67—Wyatt has studied the city’s growth, progress, and potential for decades. After a distinguished military career, including a Bronze Star in Viet Nam, Wyatt cut a wide and impressive path through the business world as an executive leader (at Sears and elsewhere) and as a successful small business owner (at Wyatt Consulting and elsewhere). Wyatt knows how to get things done and has committed himself, in running for Mayor, to use his vast experience for the benefit of the community he so dearly loves.
Wyatt is man of action, not talk, and he offers on his website an intelligent and aggressive plan to steer St. Charles to prosperity. We believe he can and will fulfill his promises. He makes very good sense as a candidate, and it would make very good sense for us to elect him on April 9.
Wyatt is endorsed.
