Broadview Man Charged With Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle


On Friday, March 11, 2016, the Bartlett Police Department arrested Daniel C. Collins, 19, 1110 W. 18th Street, Broadview, Illinois.  The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Bartlett Police Department charged him with Class 2 Felonies for Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Burglary.

On Friday, March 11, 2016 at approximately 7:30 am, the Bartlett Police Department investigated a stolen vehicle report in the 400 block of W. Oneida Avenue.  A resident reported a dark blue colored 2016 Chevrolet Traverse was stolen from her driveway.  Following an investigation, Chicago Police Department located Collins inside the stolen vehicle in the 3000 block of W. Roosevelt Road in Chicago, Illinois.  He was taken into custody without incident.

On Saturday, March 12, 2016, Collins was transported to the Cook County Court Facility to await his bail bond hearing.
