Examiner Radio

This is from July of 2008

Looking for something more interesting to listen to on the ride to work? Maybe something with a little regional flavor? Well look no further. Examiner Radio is here.
Examiner columnist (A View From the Cheap Seats) Rich Trzupek's interview with former State Senator Steve Rauschenberger will kick off our inaugural podcast. As a leading figure in Springfield for over fourteen years, there are few people as versed in the issues, the personalities and the problems that confront Illinois today as Rauschenbeger.
Since he is retired from public office, the former Senator is also free to be as frank as possible during a one-hour interview that you will find both compelling and entertaining. Rauschenberger and Trzupek discuss a variety of topics, including: problems with our health care system, how to fix public education, the tribulations - and potential trials - of Governor Rod Blajogevich, and which of our two baseball teams is likely to win the World Series this year.
You can download the podcast or you can listen on-line. Look for more interviews with interesting people on important topics in the weeks to come. We hope you enjoy Examiner Radio.
